In search of lost treasures? Or looking to get rid of clothing that you no longer use? This February, its that time again to visit Barcelona’s mix of second hand, vintage and artisan fashion markets. If you want to spend the afternoon shopping at flea markets and showrooms, or if you’re searching for a place to sell what you no longer use, here are the dates for February’s best fashion markets. Also worth a mention, in spirit of the fiesta de los enamorados, this month there are various Valentine’s Day editions of the fashion markets.
February 1st
Brick Lane BCN (BLBCN) – The Vintage Market
This February’s edition of the vintage market Brick Lake includes new brands, a new location and a new sponsor. The brands on display at the vintage market include: Desh, Horacia, Kinky Merengue, Lab Couture, La Petite Parade, Layelfish, Psychocandy and Rita Loves Vintage. The new location is the PIPOCA, a co-working establishment on the Calle Portaferrissa. And while the sponsor of the market continues to be gin, the brand remains a secret for now. Most importantly, what is clear is that the event’s drink will be the gin & tonic. Tickets are 2€ (drinks included).

El Beso Market
Clothing, accessories and illustrations are available at this edition of the Beso Market, which takes its venue outside the city of Barcelona to John Duck, an original location by a small lake in El Prat de Llobregat.

February 8th
Sweet Market
For its 9th edition the Sweet Market returns with its vintage and second-hand clothing to the Apolo. A little bit of everything is available at extremely affordable prices: bags, shoes, glasses, clothing, scarves, jewelry, hats, belts, turbans and nail polish. But one of the noteworthy peculiarities and interesting characteristics of this market is the selection of items from blogger Aida Domenech de Dulceida’s closet. As well as things from street-markets from around the world and vintage stores from Paris, Madrid, New York, Berlin, LA and Barcelona.
February 8th & 9th
demanoenmano
The traveling monthly market Demanoenmano returns this February with various exhibit and sales slots, where participants can display any kind of goods or activity that are divided into two categories; the first category consists of recycled products, second-hand goods, collectors items and vintage clothing; and the second category of new creations by artists and craftsmen (designers, painters, photographers, sculptors, illustrators, etc…) Tickets are free.

Flea Market
For lovers of second-hand objects and clothing, sentimental items and everything between, Barcelona’s Flea Market returns this month. For its February edition, the street-market will have even more space than usual available for booths and vendors, occupying the sidewalks of both sides of the Portal de Santa Madrona.

Two Market Barcelona, Valentine’s Day Special
One of the flea markets for Barcelona’s most cultivated returns this February for its monthly edition; full of clothing, second-hand item booths and known for its large flow of visitors. The most emblematic street-market of the city of Barcelona aims to encourage all to recycle and re-use with love in the spirit of Valentine’s Day. Maf Market
The Valentine’s Day edition of Market and Friends transforms a boring afternoon into a moment to share ideas, meet new people and spend an afternoon in the company of friends and good music. Original clothing, accessories, vintage items, decorative items, hand-made designs and illustrations will be available at the market. In addition, there will be an e-shopper OneGoShop and live concert by Izä y Pepe Camacho.

Weekend On the Garage
A weekend date with the street-market inspired by the American garage sale includes the sale and exchange of second-hand objects and clothing. Layelfish Vintage Market
